Monster on the Loose in Burnaby!


There is a creature potentially swimming the pond in Burnaby Central Park.

The Frankenfish or fishzilla as it has been dubbed is actually called a snakehead fish.

The fish has reportedly been eating local wildlife including small mammals, local fish, frogs and is even able to crawl onto land.

The BC Environment Ministry says biologist have been notified and they will investigate the incident further.

If the fish is in fact there the Ministry believes that it was dumped by a local owner. Snakeheads can grow upwards of one meter.
