London Olympics Now Feature Laser Guns

After it was introduced with success in the Youth Olympics, London 2012 has announced the air pistols in the pentathlon will be replaced with laser guns.
The new laser gun will cost two-thirds less than the air pistol and officials are excited with the lessen costs, now countries all over the world can take part in the event.
Klaus Schormann, president of world governing body the UIPM, said,
"We can now hold competitions in parks and shopping malls.Safety issues will no longer be a big concern."
There is no word on whether RoboCop will be one of the 2012 mascots.
