Most Important Meal of the Day?

Eating breakfast helps with weight loss? Think again.

But a new study published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition is suggesting that might not be correct.

Andrew Brown the author of the report suggests,

"We specifically found that research articles tended to overstate the strength of study designs and ignored evidence that did not support the proposed effect of breakfast on obesity. These distortions leave readers believing that the relationship between breakfast and obesity is more strongly established by science than the data actually support."

Brown's research has some back up as well. In 1992 a study done by the New York Times had inconclusive data and was often misinterpreted and misquoted. This was also the case in a similar study done in 2002.

What does this mean? Well, nobody is really sure.
