Dick Cheney Doesn't Feel Safe in Canada

Former US Vice-President Dick Cheney was headed to Toronto for a conference at the Metro Toronto Convention Center next month but has decided because of safety reasons to pull out.

It is alleged that his staff is concerned because of an issue on September 26th of last year when he was on a book tour in British Columbia. Cheney and his staff were in lock down for the better part of the six hours after protestors swarmed his party.

Who says Vancouver mobs are always a bad thing?

Although he does sort of look like the Penguin from the Batman series and has a terrible rep around North America, it's a shame the people of Toronto won't get to hear him speak out of the side of his mouth.

The event apparently will still be happening. I wonder who will fill in, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad?
